What are Stem Cells?
Stem Cells are cells capable of self renewal and repair of degenerative or damaged areas of inflammation in our bodies like joints, discs, and tendons though there are multiple other uses being investigated today.
Where do they come from?
There are two types of Stem Cell therapy we offer. Adult Stem Cell therapy and Human Amniotic Membrane Umbilical Therapy. During your consultation we will go over each and select the safest and most effective one for you.
Adult Stem Cell therapy is typically the harvesting of your own stem cells derived from your bone marrow, adipose, or fat. Research suggest that these stem cells have a high success rate at rejuvenating damaged tissue and joints allowing our bodies to repair itself naturally.
Amniotic Membrane therapy (Amniox) is a different approach with the same end goal in mind. Amniotic membrane is harvested from approved donors at birth from the umbilical cord and placenta. It is prepared and cryopreserved under strict FDA guidelines. Once administered in the area it is able to pull your body’s own Stem cells into the area to start the rejuvenation and regeneration process. Due to its ability to modulate inflammation there is a lower risk associated with rejection. By reducing inflammation and rejection risks you stand to reap the rewards of your Stem cell program safer and sooner.
How do Stem Cells work?
Stem Cells follow a signaling process from our bodies. Once they are injected into a bone, hip, or cartilage they will begin to develop in that area. Cells delivered into a joint or disc will develop into cartilage where as cells delivered into a bone will develop into bone cells. After all our bodies desperately want to self-heal. This is the ultimate natural healing process to date.
What is stem cell therapy?
Stem cells are naturally occurring in our body from the time we are born until the time we die.
