LifeXMD patients get big benefits at a small price, from an unexpected source.

Cialis (Tadalifil) has HUGE benefits for the aging male, and especially the aging male who is into hormone replacement and working out.
For starters, Cialis works by increasing blood flow throughout the body.
This makes it heart healthy. A good analogy would be like replacing your air filter every time it gets dirty. This improved blood flow effects many tissues, including the brain.

With improved blood flow comes better pumps in the gym as well. Cialis is a highly underrated addition to any workout regimen when it comes to nutrient transport and cell volumization!
Cialis reduces inflammation in the body.
Inflammation is something that bodybuilders constantly deal with due to muscle cell damage and stress.
It has been proven through studies that our measure of inflammation (C-reactive protein measure) drastically improves when taking Cialis, and this is most largely due to Cialis preventing plaque buildup in our arteries. This process reduces risks of cardiovascular disease in a major way!!

What else does Cialis do?
Well, let’s get into improved blood pressure next. Taking Cialis fights hypertension and can definitely benefit someone with high blood pressure or someone who has normal blood pressure but wants to make it even better. This is another benefit of using Cialis while on testosterone or any other supplement that can cause BP elevation.

Another significant concern of our patients, as they age, is increased risk of prostate enlargement. Cialis reduces these risks by relaxing the smooth muscles of the prostate upon regular administration. This is primarily how it works as a sexual drug as well.

So as you see, Cialis is so much more than just a sexual performance drug!
What dosage do I take if using Cialis daily for long term health benefits?
A dosage of 5-7.5 mg/day is all you need to get all of the benefits mentioned above and, of course, you get the added bonus of improved and more satisfying sexual performance. That’s a win for you, and your partner!

Human growth hormone (hGH) is a naturally-occurring hormone that is secreted by the pituitary gland, located at the base of the brain. hGH is plentiful in the human body when we are young but declines rapidly after age 30. hGH is responsible for normal body growth and development by stimulating protein production in muscle cells and energy release from the breakdown of fats.

hGH deficiency causes different symptoms at various ages. Deficiency of growth hormone prior to puberty results in dwarfism. In adults the effects of deficiency are more subtle, and may include decreased strength, energy, bone mass, and increased cardiovascular risk. hGH deficiency can also involve weight gain, increased fat and reduced lean body mass. In one recent study, total body fat was shown to be increased by 7% in this population while lean body mass was decreased to a similar degree.

Research indicates that replacing decreased hGH may reverse symptoms of the aging process and restore a more youthful body and fitness. All major hGH supplementation studies have documented improved body composition and function with consistent improvement in muscle/fat ratio. Fat decreases 10% – 20% and muscle mass typically increases by 10%. Increased fat breakdown results in lower levels of cholesterol and triglycerides. Other effects of hGH supplementation are higher capacity exercise, increased bone density, muscle mass, strength, cardiac output along with rejuvenation of skin. Many also experience immune system improvements that account for growth hormone’s anti-cancer and longevity properties. In August 1996, the FDA approved HGH for use in adult patients. Before this, it was authorized only for use to promote growth in HGH-deficient children.

hGH treatment risks are quite rare when the hormone is given in replacement doses to deficient patients.  Most common side effects are low blood sugar level and inadequate thyroid function. Supplemental hGH should not be used with patients with any active malignancy.

In an article published this week in the journals Climacteric and Maturitas, physicians conclude not only that HRT is the best treatment, but also that benefits are likely to outweigh any risks. The physicians released their views in hopes of eliminating any lingering questions about HRT and menopause. The physicians do advise that any woman considering HRT should consult with an experienced medical professional.

The physicians’ statement also says that any increase in the risk for breast cancer appears to disappear within a matter of years once treatment is concluded.

“The decision to use HRT (to treat menopause symptoms) comes down to an individual woman, in consultation with her doctor,” said Tobie de Villiers, president of the International Menopause Society, one of the organizations making the statement. “Used properly, HRT will give significantly more benefits than harm.”

A recent study, based on the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) — which studied more than 160,000 postmenopausal women aged 50-79 years over 15 years — showed that post menopausal found lasting relief from joint pain. The study was presented online by the professional journal, Menopause, as well as the online research resource, ScienceDaily.com.

Previous studies on this issue have been inconclusive, but this study analyzed the results of the WHI research, the broadest research available of the use of hormone replacement therapy in women after menopause.

Dr. Rowan T. Chlebowski, one of the authors of the study, said, “We found that post-menopausal women who received estrogen-only medication reported significantly lower frequency of joint pain than women who received a placebo. Three to five percent more of the women receiving estrogen reported less joint pain than the women receiving a placebo.”

Among 10,739 women enrolled in the program, 77% initially reported they had joint pain and 40% said they experienced swelling of the joints. After one year of treatment, joint pain frequency was lower among women receiving estrogen.

Three years later, a smaller group reported on follow-up that those who received estrogen suffered less from joint pain than those who did not.

Doctor Chlebowski summed up by saying, “These findings suggest estrogen may provide modest but sustained relief for post-menopausal women who suffer from joint pain. “Women should consult their physicians and balance the potential therapeutic value of estrogen against the available information on risks and benefits of menopausal hormone therapy.”

Testosterone is a controlled substance and is regulated accordingly by the US. Food and Drug Administration. In hormone replacement therapy, men and women receive very different, individually appropriate does of testosterone. Note that the benefits and risks of bio-identical hormones are different than those in synthetic hormones — chemical compounds which are structurally similar to natural or bio-identical hormones, but differ slightly in composition. Every person is different in their needs, goals and medical history; do not make any decisions or actions about your hormones without consulting an experienced, knowledgeable medical professional.
